Believe it or not I have yet to visit Disneyland in California. That being said, after reading this amazingly detailed vacation guidebook by Joshua Shaffer I feel as if I have already been to Disneyland's Magic Kingdom! The book covers everything ranging from packing for the trip, where to purchase tickets, cost of eating in the parks, to Disney Fairy Tale weddings and birthday parties!
There is a a whole section of the guide book dedicated to Disney history which I found really interesting. This includes Disney princesses, Disney movie trivia and Pixar. Did you know that Disneyland Park opened to the public on July 18, 1955? I had no idea Disneyland has been around for over 59 years!
I learned all about Club 33 in this guidebook-for those that don't know Club 33 is an exclusive club that only the rich belong to. Club 33 members enjoy access to the club's exclusive restaurant and full bar. It is the only location within Disneyland to offer alcoholic beverages. There are different levels of memberships, the Corporate Membership fee is $27,500 + an additional $6,100/year and this includes up to nine members (an additional annual fee of $4,650 each). There is an option for an individual to become a member and the fee is $10,450! For more info on membership visit the Club 33 website.
