What Is Fast Pass Plus?!

Many people have been asking me what is the new Fast Pass + ?! I am here to help you learn about Disney's new Fast Pass + and how to pick your daily three attractions wisely. First of all you need to know that Disney has done away with the old Fast Pass kiosks and guests are no longer able to swipe their park ticket and receive a printed out Fast Pass for a time slot to return to the ride of their choice. Now guests who are staying on property can go online and pre arrange (60 days prior to your check in) the three Fast Pass Plus attractions for one park per day. If you are planning on park hopping unfortunately you can only receive Fast Pass + for one theme park per day. Guests staying off property are unable to access Fast Pass +. Off property guests must wait until they arrive at the theme park and find a kiosk and choose the time slots for three available attractions and then they will be given a Fast Pass +.

How It Works:

Visit Disney's website and create an account if you don't already have one. Sign in to get started:

Select the day you want to choose a Fast Pass + for:

Select the park for the day you are selecting Fast Pass +

On the left column you will see the available Fast Pass + attractions and you can select 3:

Once you choose your three attractions for Fast Pass + there will be a choice of different times and you can pick the time frame that will work best with your schedule. Tip-try to avoid using a Fast Pass + before 11 am. this way you can make use of the less crowded rides in the early morning. For example, be at the park when gates open at 9 am and head directly to a popular attraction you know you want to ride but don't have a Fast Pass + for (Fantasyland would be where I would head--Barnstormer, Ariel meetngreet, Little Mermaid ride)

TIPS:

Magic Kingdom top Fast Pass + attractions:

1. Anna & Elsa Meet N Greet
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain
4. Thunder Mountain
5. Enchanted Tales with Bell
*Once Seven Dwarf Mine Train opens it will be a hot Fast Pass + attraction*

Epcot top Fast Pass + attractions:

1. Anna & Elsa Meet N Greet
2. Soarin'
3. Test Track

Hollywood Studios top Fast Pass + attractions:

1. Toy Story Midway Mania
2. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
3. RocknRoller Coaster

Animal Kingdom to Fast Pass + attractions:

1. Expedition Everest
2. Kilimanjaro Safari
3. Kali River Rapids

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival 2014

Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail Orange. Enjoy the ride as we share everything you need to know about the 2014 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

It's that time again! The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is in full "bloom".

When: March 5 - May 18th 2014

Details: Outdoor kitchens, amazing topiaries, HGTV designers and demonstrations, Flower Power concert series and interactive play areas for children.

Grab a free Garden Passport before you start the day to keep track of which outdoor kitchen you have visited. Each outdoor kitchen has it's own unique stamp. Be sure to budget enough money for sampling the delicious culinary foods from each kitchen. This year there will be 11 outdoor kitchens. New this year is the Urban Farm Eats Outdoor Kitchen featuring sustainably farmed foods. You will be able to sample foods grown right from Epcot's The Land!

Last year I really enjoyed the Smokehouse pulled pork bbq sandwich and I am so happy to hear that the Smokehouse will be returning again this year! They have added a few new dishes such as drum roll....PIGGYLICIOUS BACON CUPCAKES!! I am looking forward to trying this one.

The amazing topiaries are my favorite! I could walk around Epcot for hours and admire the topiaries and take pictures of them. The Flower & Garden Festival really goes all out with these topiaries. It is hard to pick a favorite topiary because they are all great! The Fairy House topiaries of each fairy from the movie Tinkerbell to the amazing princess topiaries are my daughters favorites.

Tips for visiting the Flower & Garden Festival:

  • Allow plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful topiaries
  • Purchase a wristcard that you can load with money so you can walk around and sample the delicious foods and not have to keep paying and digging for your wallet in your backpack or purse
  • Take a lot of pictures to capture the moment
  • Plan to skip lunch and just sample the delicious foods from each country
  • Allow extra time to let the kiddies burn some energy at the huge playground

Favorite WDW Spirits

Welcome to those of you joining me from Dis Therapy and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail.

Disney restaurants are known for some pretty cool drinks and in my opinion one of the most unique one's is the Lapu Lapu served IN a pineapple! This drink can be found at the Polynesian Resort's O'hana restaurant and also at Kona Cafe. You can also find it at the Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian Resort.

Here I am enjoying the Lapu Lapu at Kona Café

If you are looking for a really unique drink and you find yourself in Epcot be sure to try the Tipsy Ducks In Love drink. This drink may sound funny but it is no joke. This little drink here is quite strong consisting of cold tea and coffee combined with bourbon whiskey and chocolate! It can be found in the China Pavillion at the Joy of Tea. If you enjoy bourbon then this is the drink for you. It will set you back $8.50 or you can purchase a non-alcoholic version for only $5.50.

Baby Bullet Giveaway

Welcome to the Baby Bullet Giveaway hosted by The Parenting Patch and sponsored by Baby Bullet. For more information about the Baby Bullet Complete Baby Care System, check out this Baby Bullet Review

One lucky reader of The Parenting Patch and Disney With Babies Toddlers & Preschoolers will win one (1) Baby Bullet Complete Baby Care System valued at $59.97. As a Mom of three children I know that the cost of baby food is not cheap. I wish that I had known about this amazing Baby Bullet system when my children were babies! This would have come in handy. Imagine simply purchasing fresh fruits instead of jar baby food and how much money you could save. Not to mention it is a great way to get creative and create yummy combinations of foods that you know as a Mom your children will love. My son was extremely picky as a toddler and refused almost all jarred baby foods except for two flavors which were almost always sold out. If I had had this Baby Bullet I could have simply created his two favorite flavors at home and then snuck in a few veggies too ;)

To enter for your chance to win the Baby Bullet Giveaway, simply use the following Rafflecopter form. Good luck! Happy cooking! a Rafflecopter giveaway

The Baby Bullet Giveaway is restricted to legal residents of the United States of America and Canada. The Baby Bullet Giveaway ends at midnight CST on March 21, 2014. One winner will be chosen at random via Rafflecopter. The winner will be sent an email and will have forty-eight hours to respond. If no response is received within forty-eight hours, another winner will be chosen. The Parenting Patch and Disney With Babies Toddlers & Preschoolers not responsible for prize fulfillment.

Nursing At Disney World

The baby care centers at Disney World are great! I just wish that there were more of them throughout the parks! The baby care centers are available for both Mom's, Dad's and children of all ages. There is no age limit to use the baby care centers. I find the small potties to be wonderful for my three year old who is terrified of the loud automatic flushing toilets. The baby care center in Magic Kingdom is located off of Main Street beside the Crystal Palace. The baby care centers offer a separate area for changing diapers complete with multiple clean changing tables. There is a separate area with rocking chairs and very dim lighting to help with sleepy babies. While nursing my baby girl last year on our Disney vacation we spent a lot of time walking back and forth to the baby care center for diaper changes and for me to nurse. By the second day I was tired of having to treck back and forth to the care center so I found some great spots to nurse that were secluded and tucked away from the crowds.

I am going to share with readers some great spots to nurse your baby throughout the parks without having to go all the way back to the baby care center. One of my favorite spots to nurse is located directly behind the Ye Olde Christmas shop in the back of Liberty Square. My children were able to wait in line to meet Princess Tiana with my husband while I sat on a bench in the SHADE and nursed the baby. Another wonderful spot to nurse is located in Tomorrowland across from the Buzz Lightyear ride. There are benches (they are cement so they aren't the most comfortable) in the SHADE that allow for some privacy also.

There are even a few rides that I would recommend nursing on--the Tomorrowland People Mover is one of them. The cast members were so nice and even offered my family to ride twice in a row without getting off of the ride so that I would be able to have longer to nurse. (I always had a a big nursing blanket to allow privacy). The Carousel of Progress is a great dark place to sit in the air conditioning and nurse. And of course the Disney World Railroad train is a great 20 minute scenic place to nurse.

There are changing spots located in most of the restrooms throughout the park, however, the Baby Care Center offers a room dedicated to this, complete with close to ten or more very clean and sanitary changing tables.
