Favorite WDW Spirits

Welcome to those of you joining me from Dis Therapy and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail.

Disney restaurants are known for some pretty cool drinks and in my opinion one of the most unique one's is the Lapu Lapu served IN a pineapple! This drink can be found at the Polynesian Resort's O'hana restaurant and also at Kona Cafe. You can also find it at the Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian Resort.

If you are looking for a really unique drink and you find yourself in Epcot be sure to try the Tipsy Ducks In Love drink. This drink may sound funny but it is no joke. This little drink here is quite strong consisting of cold tea and coffee combined with bourbon whiskey and chocolate! It can be found in the China Pavillion at the Joy of Tea. If you enjoy bourbon then this is the drink for you. It will set you back $8.50 or you can purchase a non-alcoholic version for only $5.50.

  1. I really, really, really have to try that drink in the pineapple! I'm not a huge fan of the taste of alcohol, but that pineapple makes me happy! I've never heard of the Tipsy Ducks in Love, but I think I might enjoy the non-alcoholic version of that one. I've read so many great reviews of that tea booth, but have yet to actually stop and order something!

    1. The Tipsy park of this Duck is for real. It is a bourbon milkshake. I love it but would not recommend it for the faint of heart.

  2. I've only tried the Lapu Lapu once but it was awesome. Joy of Tea is one of my favorite spots. You should try the Plum Wine Slush on your next trip. It's delicious!

  3. Wow, what great and interesting drinks Hayden! I think I would like the pineapple drink better because I'm not a fan of coffee that much, but looking at them both they both looked good! Great post!

  5. Coffee *and* tea in the same drink? I'm not sure....but then again, I'm a hard-core coffee girl :)

  6. I tried the Lapu Lapu for the first time last trip. It was stronger than I thought it would be but still good. And you get to have a little fruit along with it. Thanks for sharing Tipsy Ducks in Love, sounds interesting, though the bourbon might send me over the edge.

  7. Well, the Lapu Lapu is our must have drink each trip. There is no better way to celebrate after a runDisney event. Word of caution: if you go too late on race day, they are often out of pineapples! Gadzooks. A Lapu Lapu just doesn't taste the same out of a plastic cup!! As with most good things, timing is everything... :D

  8. Besides being in a pineapple, what else is in the Lapu Lapu? I've never had one, but it sounds interesting! :)
