What's Your Favorite Disney Vacation Planning Book?

Welcome to those of you joining me from I Am A Mommy Nerd and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

There are SO many awesome vacation planning books available. When I'm planning a Disney World vacation or Disney Cruise one of my 'must have' books is the Passporter's Disney Cruise Line and Passporter's Walt Disney World books. I absolutely love these books. They are great for both beginners and pro's. They come stocked with detailed maps, storage pockets for park tickets, and detailed information on attractions, shows and restaurants.

Passporter's Walt Disney World guidebook really helps with planning each day of your Disney vacation. The book describes each ride and attraction along with the height requirements and best time of the day to visit each ride. I love the journal section of the book which is located in the very back. This area is a dedicated space for travelers to write down their favorite's from each day of vacation. The guide book also has very detailed information about each resort and even has pictures of the different room layouts. I am a visual learner and I love this feature!

The books are available online at www.passporter.com and they are available as hard copies or E copies starting at just $5.95 and up. They also make a great present for someone planning a Disney vacation.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Capturing Magical Memories.

  1. This book sounds fab! I love that it has a journal section at the back because I feel bad about writing notes in books in the actual pages :) Have you ever taken the book with you to the parks? Is it small enough to carry there?

  2. This is my favorite WDW planning book too - I wish there was an updated Disneyland one. I am a visual learner too and this book hits the mark for Disney folks like us. ~ Dawn

  3. Great post Hayden! I don't have the hard copy books but I have seen the ebooks. I think the hard copy ones are better suited for planning, but what do you think? Thanks for writing!

  4. Believe it or not I don't own a Disney planning book. I've always done my research online. Do you think this would be a good first book to buy for a Disney planning library?

  5. I love the Passporter Books. I have thought about buying a book for each member of the family so they can plan their own must do activities and then buy one for us to use to combine them. How do you let the family get involved with using them?

  6. I used to live by the Passporter books - they are great source of information. Do you think it's good for people who don't know a lot about Disney or better for people who at least have a working knowledge?

  7. Oh my- I used to tear out those yellow folders in the back of each Passporter and take them with me to the parks; before electronics that was the only way to travel!! I agree with your assessment- although Birnbaums is still my all time sentimental favorite, the graphics and diagrams from Passporter can't be beat!

  8. I have never purchased a Passporter book before, but did just order the Disney Weddings and Honeymoons edition for our upcoming vow renewal. Looks like I need to get a couple more as well!

  9. I do love Passporter books! I'm filling mine out now for our fall trip. Have you downloaded any Ebooks? Which is your favorite- if you've purchased some!?

  10. I pack my Passporter book with me and read it on the way to Disney (12 hours in the car). I have actually not purchased the E Book Beth. The book is small enough to carry daily into the parks in a backpack. I think it is great for both a newbie and a repeat visitor :)

  11. I LOVE the Passporter books - I loved planning with it and totally had it in my card for the drive... Actually, it's still in the car... Should probably switch out the 2013 one for the 2014 one once I pick a resort for our next trip!
