Staying Fit & Healthy at the Disney Parks

Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail. Enjoy the ride as we share tips for staying fit and healthy at the Disney Parks. We are talking about staying fit and healthy at Walt Disney World this week. To stay fit and healthy you need to try to avoid those delicious looking ice cream carts and instead look for the healthy carts that serve fresh fruit and bottled water :) My favorite healthy snacking spot at the Magic Kingdom is located in Liberty Square near the Columbia Harbour House. The Liberty Square Market serves a wide variety of fresh fruits, fruit and nut trail mixes, fruit juices and bottled water.

My favorite choices include the baked potato and fresh fruit

My children's favorite options include the apple slices and grapes

I love that you can choose healthy snacks throughout the theme parks

Another great spot for a healthy snack is located in Fantasyland at Prince Eric's Village Market. You can find fresh fruit, Vitamin Water, Smart Water, bottled water, hummus and chips, mixed veggie cup and dip, Ocean Spray fruit and nut trail mix,

Don't forget to avoid the soda if you are trying to stay healthy. Disney offers complimentary ice water at most quick service spots. You just have to ask.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Super Heroes and Teacups.

  1. Some great tips in there! I know I always panic and forget where I can find good fresh fruit when I'm out and about. I've been known to take extra bananas and apples from Tusker House after finishing my breakfast... LoL!

  2. The great thing about the Liberty Square Market is that it is rarely crowded.

  3. I had no idea they had hummus and chips in Fantasyland! I'll have to try that next time!

  4. I've never really paid much attention to the food carts. I'll have to make a point of getting a healthy snack at one of them on our next trip!

  5. Fruit carts are great for those with allergies too! My wife always appreciates them and so ears much better than me! LOL

  6. We enjoy the fruit carts, but have also become huge fans of the new Allergy-Friendly Snack Carts that are popping up. They have snacks such as apple chips, hummus cups and organic juices that are great alternatives for those with allergies and sensitivities, or just for those more health-conscious.

  7. I have found that Disney has vastly expanded its fresh fruit and healthy food carts over the years. Have you noticed a difference through the years?
