What You Should & Shouldn't Carry In Your Disney Parks Bag

Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail. Enjoy the ride as we share what we carry in our Disney Parks bag.

On my families very first Disney World vacation I did a ton of research and to be honest I over packed. I over packed our luggage and I over packed our park book bags. Having three children under age 7 I feel like it is always ok to over pack because you never know when you might need an extra shirt, shorts, socks, underwear, etc. But when it comes to the park bag that someone (unlucky husband) has to carry around all day long it is not always a good thing to be over packed!

I always pack my super cute personalized Disney tumbler for the stroller cup holder :)

I have limited our park bag the past few years to ensure that A. it does not get too heavy and B. it is only practical items that we have actually had a need for. My park bag used to consist of diapers, wipes, sunscreen, chapstick, camera, camcorder, cell phone, park tickets, sunglasses for all of the children, autograph books, snacks, extra clothes for 3 kids, etc. But that bag got VERY heavy and we found that we rarely needed some of the items we were lugging around. That being said, now that my children are all out of diapers (thank goodness!) it has allowed for a less packed park bag.

My Disney park bag consists of the following items: bandaids, camera, cell phone, park tickets, hand sanitizer, pony tail holders, sunglasses for the children, chapstick and sunscreen. We have started leaving the autograph books in the stroller storage bag along with a change of clothes for each child including a beach towel in case they get wet. I still bring snacks with me but I do not carry them in the backpack. The snacks go in a soft sided cooler that we hang on the back of the stroller.

Here is my park bag

Valentine's Day Crafts For Toddlers

Welcome to the first stop aboard the Blogorail. Enjoy the ride as we share some fun Valentine's Day crafts.

Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday! There are tons of simple and affordable craft projects for the whole family. I am going to share with you a few idea's that require minimal supplies and very little money :)

First up, let your kids help decorate for Valentine's Day

My kids love to help me decorate for pretty much any occasion. I purchased these adorable mailboxes at Michael's Craft Store and a bag of sticky sparkly hearts. Then I wrote each child's name on the mailbox and let them decorate them. Super easy and they had a blast!
Making hand made Valentine's Day cards is another fun craft for toddlers. I already had construction paper on hand and a Mickey Mouse hole puncher. I purchased some Disney stickers at a craft store and let my kids go to town decorating their cards and coloring them.

I pre cut the Mickey Mouse heads and then let my toddler decorate the card by herself
