Valentine's Day Crafts For Toddlers

Welcome to the first stop aboard the Blogorail. Enjoy the ride as we share some fun Valentine's Day crafts.

Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday! There are tons of simple and affordable craft projects for the whole family. I am going to share with you a few idea's that require minimal supplies and very little money :)

First up, let your kids help decorate for Valentine's Day

My kids love to help me decorate for pretty much any occasion. I purchased these adorable mailboxes at Michael's Craft Store and a bag of sticky sparkly hearts. Then I wrote each child's name on the mailbox and let them decorate them. Super easy and they had a blast!
Making hand made Valentine's Day cards is another fun craft for toddlers. I already had construction paper on hand and a Mickey Mouse hole puncher. I purchased some Disney stickers at a craft store and let my kids go to town decorating their cards and coloring them.

I pre cut the Mickey Mouse heads and then let my toddler decorate the card by herself

  1. Your daughter looks like she's having so much fun! Do you have a Mickey hole punch that you used?

  3. I love the craft ideas! I didn't know they sold little mailboxes... Perfect for my youngest who's not school age yet. As for the craft punch, I've seen them at Micheal s, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby (they have a little Disney section in our store), and online. I think I got mine as part of a craft pack at Wal-Mart several years ago, but I haven't seen them in awhile.

  4. I have to laugh. My son LOVES to craft. He especially like to make cards like your daughter. If I handed him all those stickers I can assure you ever singe one of them would be on the card. :)

  6. I love those adorable little mailboxes! This reminds me of my daughters' Valentine's Day when they were toddlers. I need to step up my game for my poor, neglected third child! ;) Thanks for the ideas and motivation!

  7. What great ideas! My three year old son would be able to do both of those. It surprises me how much he actually does like to do projects with mommy!
