Sweaty Baby Giveaway Hosted By Everything Mommyhood

Welcome to the SweatyBaby.com Giveaway Event!

Hosted by: Everything Mommyhood Sponsored by: SweatyBaby.com

Have you ever picked up your baby after a long nap or taken them out of their car seat to find that your baby is sweating? I know I have, and I've felt that they must be so uncomfortable in their damp clothing, and wondered what can I do to help? When babies are more comfortable, they're happy, which in turn makes you happy! SweatyBaby.com has a line of organic baby bodysuits that are designed to be extra breathable and moisture wicking, which helps keep babies cooler and reduces the sweating in babies. Based on all of their research and talking with a lot of other moms they found that most babies tend to sweat while sleeping, riding in car seats or strollers, while nursing, babywearing, and when the weather is warm. They had a panel of product tester moms (who have sweaty babies) test out our bodysuits and 100% of them said that our bodysuits helped reduce, if not eliminate, their baby’s sweat. In addition to being 100% certified organic, their bodysuits are also made in the USA. SweatyBaby bodysuits are not only 100% organic, but they are made from a bamboo blend that is very soft and gentle for your baby's skin while offering the lightweight, breathable, and moisture wicking properties found in performance fabrics. While no fabric will completely eliminate sweat, the products found on SweatyBaby.com should help keep your baby cooler and help them sweat less, which as a mom, I know it makes my heart happy. Not only does SweatyBaby have bodysuits (which come in short sleeve or long sleeve), they have a lot of other great products as well. Swaddle blankets, car seat liner, car seat sunshade, stroller liner, sun sleeves, and crib sheets. Sweatybaby.com has teamed up with our blog to offer our readers a fantastic prize package of their line, valued at over $125. Tips On Creating An Affordable Summer Bucket List

Summer is almost here and my littles are beyond excited! Each summer we make a fun list of things they want to do together and check off the items as we go. Last summer their bucket list got a little out of control and we didn't quite check off all of the items on the list. This summer we are trying something a little different. We are on a tight budget this summer because we are in the process of moving and we just got back from Disney World a few weeks ago.

Having fun with your kids shouldn't cost a ton of money and there are plenty of fun free things to do. Try to create a fun summer bucket list with your children to include them. Write each child's list for them if they are little or let each child make their own list on a bright piece of paper using fun colored markers, dry erase boards, etc. Get creative!

Tips:

  • Set a budget and explain it (anything that requires an overnight hotel stay for example might not work)
  • Set boundaries (within an hour of your house if you don't want to drive too far, etc.)
  • Encourage your children to try something new (visit a new playground for example)
  • Pull out a local map and explore a new area
  • Remind your children that they can have fun in their own backyard too!
  • Visit the Dollar Store and grab some summer fun accessories such as water balloons, water guns, bug catchers, bubbles, chalk, etc.

My children love visiting the local zoo and we purchased passes so we can return for free all summer long. We are planning a day trip to the beach and of course trips to the pool. Whatever you do, remember to have fun and don't go overboard!

Dinner At Columbia Harbour House For A Family of 5 All Under $40

Magic Kingdom is one of our children's favorite theme parks and we often pack their meals in a cooler to save money. Well, this year we decided to try to eat our dinner at a quick service location and try to see if it was possible to feed our family of 5 for under $40. Well, let me tell you, it is VERY possible to feed a family of 5 for under $40. However, there are a few tricks to doing so. First off, I ordered my own dinner from the children's menu and added a side of broccoli. Second, we had two children split a children's meal. My youngest isn't a big eater so it was not a big deal when we told her she would be sharing her meal with her sister. I just gave my youngest my side of yogurt that came with my children's meal.

The children's meals at Columbia Harbour House are really nice and include the following:
chicken nuggets, a side of Danimals strawberry yogurt, side of grapes and a drink (milk, apple juice, soda) All of this for just $5.99!!! I chose the children's meal also but chose the macncheese and then I added a side of broccoli for just $2.19 extra.

The macncheese is delicious and the broccoli was steamed and very flavorful

My husband was pretty hungry so he chose the macaroni and cheese with lobster and shrimp and said it was delicious! His meal was $13.79. This could easily be split between two people if they are not super hungry.

We chose a nice quiet spot to eat dinner on the upper floor, if you sit upstairs you will have a great view of the Haunted Mansion and the Liberty Boat

Hard to believe but my family of 5 was able to dine for under $40

Overall, Columbia Harbour House was wonderful and one of our families favorites quick service dining options at the Magic Kingdom. I would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a good quality meal. They offer an arrangement of choices including salmon, fried shrimp, chicken, etc.

Dinner At Les Chefs De France

Chefs De France Price Fix Menu---Best Deal In My Opinion
$39.99 and you get to chose an appetizer, entree and dessert!

I chose the Gratin De Macaroni---WOW! So cheesy and wonderful!

My family chose the roasted chicken with broccoli and potatoes. They loved their dish and said they would love to order it again next time.

Delicious Broiled Salmon with Lentils--highly recommend, very delicious salmon

Birthday Girl received a huge chocolate chip cookie with a strawberry and candle

Be sure to save room for dessert! The desserts at Chefs De France are amazing!

Strawberry cake with strawberry gelato

I chose the chocolate mousse and pound cake, it was so fluffy and sweet, probably the best chocolate mousse I've had!

Children's Menu consisted of many great entree choices for both picky eaters and adventurous eaters

Kids Chicken Tenders and French Fries

Overall, our dinner at Les Chefs De France was memorable, excellent quality food with a wonderful atmosphere. I love that this restaurant is located beside the beautiful water fountains and our table was located near a window with a great view of the water. I would highly recommend Les Chefs De France and we hope to return again.

Fulton's Crab House Dinner Review

Wonderful location at Downtown Disney, I recommend requesting a table with a window by the water

This was our first time dining at Fulton's Crab House at Downtown Disney. We made dining reservations about two months ahead of time. It is really nice to be able to park your stroller on the boat and not have to worry about someone stealing it. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the restaurant was great. Our server was excellent, always attentive and he made great suggestions. My children loved being able to color literally on the table (the tables are covered with a sheet of white paper) and this kept this busy and happily occupied. Happy kids = happy Mom! I was able to enjoy my meal without having bored children which really made it enjoyable!

Appetizers

Shrimp Cocktail--excellent choice

Fulton's House Salad--Excellent choice

Corn and Crab Soup---The BEST corn and crab soup I have ever had! Very big portion, you could easily opt to share this or even order as a meal at lunch time if you aren't super hungry. The presentation is wonderful, our server poured the soup at our table.

Corn & Crab Soup-made with local sweet corn, blue crab and cream. Delish!

Entree's

Jumbo Lump Blue Crab Cakes--My Father ordered the crab cakes served over roasted corn with a fried green tomato. He said he would really enjoyed the entree.

I ordered the Clams & Linguini however I am not a big fan of clams so our server recommend adding chicken instead, this was delicious! I love that Fulton's Crab House will work with picky eaters like myself :)

Atlantic Salmon served over butternut squash puree. My Mother ordered the Salmon and she said it was cooked just to her liking and she would recommend it. Full of flavor and a great choice.

My husband ordered the Jambalaya and he said it was wonderful. Full of flavor consisting of big pieces of shrimp, chicken, crawfish, sausage and tomatoes. Served in a cast iron skill. My husband gave this entree an A+. He said he would definitely order this again.

Impressive Children's Menu

Unfortunately my children are not adventurous eater's however I love that Fulton's Crab House offers a wide variety of options on the children's menu. The choices include choices rarely seen on children's menu's including Filet Mignon, fish of the day, baby shrimp pasta and snow crab legs!! Wow! Of course my children stuck with their favorite option: chicken tenders. They did not want the corn so they opted for french fries instead.

Kids Chicken Tenders and French Fries

Overall we had a wonderful and enjoyable dinner at Fulton's Crab House. I would highly recommend it and be sure to make advanced dining reservations to avoid having to wait for a table.

The Plaza Restaurant Lunch Review

My family had a delicious lunch at The Plaza Restaurant located on Main Street in Magic Kingdom. I would recommend making dining reservations ahead of time to avoid waiting. Once seated we had a fabulous view of Cinderella's Castle and my children were thrilled that we could see the afternoon parade also! The food at The Plaza consists of sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.

I chose the amazing club sandwich which I would highly recommend. I could eat the club sandwich everyday, it was so yummy! The chips were great too! For those on a diet or looking for a smaller meal I would recommend the chicken strawberry salad.

Grilled chicken sandwich with a side of cole slaw--excellent

Club Sandwich--turkey, ham, lettuce, bacon, tomato and mayo--Excellent

My husband chose the grilled rueben which he said was excellent

Brownie Sundae--Amazing!

Be sure to save room for dessert! The Plaza offers delicious milkshakes, ice cream, banana splits and brownie sundaes. I chose the brownie sundae with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. It was really yummy and there was no way I could have eaten this by myself! I shared it with my little one's who loved it too!

Overall I would rate The Plaza Restaurant an A+. Our server was very attentive, always refilling our drinks, etc. The atmosphere is wonderful, nice AC and a great view of Main Street and the Castle. The food was very affordable and not overpriced. The kids menu is great and includes milk or apple juice plus a side of grapes or fries and a dessert for the kids. My daughter loves the Mickleodeon ice cream cone with two cookies for Mickey ear's. Such a fun dessert!

Meet Duffy Bear

My children were excited to finally meet Duffy Bear

Many people do not know the story behind the popular Duffy Bear. Duffy "the Disney bear" made his debut in November 2010. Duffy is Mickey Mouse's teddy bear that Minnie Mouse gave to him to travel with on his many adventures. You can meet Duffy in Epcot and you can even purchase your very own Duffy bear and clothing!

Most young children do not know who Duffy is because he is not in any tv shows or movies. He is instead a retail creation of Tokyo Disney, where he is one of the most sought-after souvenirs! You can purchase this adorable little Duffy the Disney Bear online at the Disneystore.com for $10+ depending on what size you choose. Next time you are in Epcot keep an eye out for Duffy!
