Shout Out To My Blog Sponsors

I can not believe it has almost been one year since Disney With Babies Toddlers and Preschoolers officially started!! I wanted to take a minute and sincerely thank all of my wonderful sponsors who have graciously donated wonderful prizes over the past year to my awesome reader's!

A big thanks to Dave at Vacation Central Florida for being SO incredibly generous and giving away a FREE one week's stay at one of his beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo's at Windsor Hill's. Thank you to Vacation Central Florida for being a wonderful blog sponsor also! Windsor Hill's is located just minutes from Disney gates and each unit comes with complimentary wi fi. Visit their Facebook page for current specials:

A big thanks to Cheryl Koren at Magical Memory Maker for being such a great blog sponsor! Cheryl is such a great travel agent and I truly appreciate her knowledge of all things Disney! I highly recommend her services to all of my readers. Thanks to Cheryl for donating a Disney gift card among other goodies for giveaways over the past year. Follow her on Facebook:

A big thanks to Kingdom Strollers for donating one week of FREE stroller or crib rental to one lucky reader this past year! I truly would not use any other stroller rental company after experiencing the convenience and quality of the strollers that Kingdom Strollers rents. It was so nice to have all of the extra space in the van when embarking on our long (12 hour) road trip to Orlando. Leaving our huge double stroller at home meant having more space in the trunk for extra luggage :) Kingdom Strollers delivered the rental stroller to our resort and picked it up at the end of our vacation. It was so simple and SO convenient. The strollers that they rent are quality strollers complete with comfy seats for the children. Visit their Facebook page at

A big thanks to Jodi at Magical Mouse Schoolhouse for being a wonderful blog sponsor! I have enjoyed reading her book that is available for sale at Thanks to Jodi for donating a copy of her book Magical Mouse Schoolhouse: Learn While You Play At Walt Disney World Resort to one lucky blog reader earlier this year!

A big thanks to Jenn at one of my favorite Etsy shops StitchesNBows for being a wonderful blog sponsor! Jenn's personalized clothes, totes and dresses are so adorable and I really love working with Jenn. She is so quick to respond to my emails and she is so talented!

It's Finally Here-WDW Magazine

Have you seen this? My friend Carl announced some big news recently that’s pretty cool. It's called WDW Magazine. WDW Magazine is a digital magazine available on the Apple Newsstand. If you have an iPad you can subscribe to the magazine.

The first issue is about Fall Happenings at Walt Disney World. It includes stories (and some awesome pictures) about Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. The stories are great. There is a bonus section just for first time visitors where they discuss the best age for a first visit including a great story about a 10 month old's first time at Walt Disney World.

What does it cost? There are two options: month to month subscription for $4.99 per issue and you can cancel at anytime. The second option (the best deal in my opinion) is to subscribe for the year and pay just $47.99. There will be 14 issues each year with two issues being subscriber only issues.
To subscribe to the WDW Magazine click this link to visit the iTunes page.

Pro's and Con's To Staying On Property At Disney World

There are so many wonderful resorts at Disney World to choose from. How do you pick just one?! I am here to help you decide.

Pro's to staying on property

  • Location, Location, Location!
  • Save time from driving to the parks and use the FREE Disney transportation system
  • Buses, Boats and Monorails Oh my! There are many ways to access the theme parks from many on property resorts
  • Adorable themed rooms (Art of Animation is my favorite themed resort for children, Finding Nemo suites and Little Mermaid rooms are absolutely adorable!)
  • Free theme park parking if you choose to drive
Dole Whips at the Polynesian Resort are definitely a PRO for me :)
Many different transportation options available!
Con's to staying on property
  • More expensive (unless you stay at a value resort)
  • Lack of full kitchen (unless you rent a villa)
  • Less space than a two bedroom condo
Conclusion, if you are traveling with a larger family it might be better to look at all of your options including staying off property to save money. Renting a house would be cheaper than renting an on property villa at Disney. However, if you love all things Disney and have one or two children then you can squeeze into a standard room at a value or moderate on property hotel such as Port Orleans or Coronado Springs Resort. This would allow your family the quickest access to the theme parks and free parking if you choose to drive. When you stay on property you do not have to pay the $14 per day parking fee to park at the theme parks.
