Top 3 Snacks At Magic Kingdom

Welcome to those of you joining me from I Am A Mommy Nerd and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

It is hard to pick just three of my favorite 'must have' snacks at Magic Kingdom! There are so many amazing choices to choose from. However, my #1 'must have' snack has got to be the infamous DOLE WHIP!

1. The Dole Whip
The Dole Whip can be found at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. There are two ways to get a dole whip, as a soft serve ice cream or as a float. The soft serve dole whip is available in three flavors: vanilla, orange and pineapple. My favorite is the swirl version where guests can choose to mix the flavors. A soft serve swirl is $3.79. If it is a really hot day and you want more of a drink than ice cream I would highly recommend the pineapple float which costs $4.99. This float is available in three flavors also: pineapple, vanilla and orange dole whip which is my personal favorite.

2. Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar

The best $3.75 you will spend the whole week! My children love these things! They can be found throughout the park at the ice cream carts. This is a classic vanilla ice cream bar with chocolate ice cream on the outside shaped like Mickey! What's not to love? Caution-these are addicting!

  1. Ah, three classics! My daughter sometimes can't decide between the ice cream bar or the ice cream sandwich--both yummy! Is it a toss-up for your kids?

  2. Excellent choices, Hayden! My wife's favorite dessert is the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar! As for me, I'm not much of a whip fan, but I might try the orange one in June when we visit -- and as for the pretzel, I love salty snacks, so that will go well, but I don't think the icing to dip in it is something I would like. Do you like the icing that comes with it?

  3. Good choices. The Dole Whip Float is definitely my favorite. We've never tried a Mickey Pretzel - I don't know why, but they don't tempt me in the least! I guess because there are so many "different" things to choose from.

  4. I am not going to lie - I don't get the appeal of the Dole Whip! I want to re-try the orange one... I vaguely remember it from my childhood.. but I definitely love a mickey premium bar and a good pretzel!! Have you ever tried the German Pavilion pretzels? SO yummy!

  5. Mike-I think you will enjoy the Dole Whip orange creamsicle flavor. It is so yummy! I do love the icing that comes with the Mickey pretzel, it is the perfect combo of salty and sweet. Perfect with a soda.

  6. I had my first Dole Whip and Ice Cream Bar there last month! YUM!

I wish I had realized I should have gotten the float. The pineapple was good, but the float looked better. Yum!

  7. Mickey Bar.. I can't even count how many I eat while in the MK! lol... But I am now also hooked on the Dole Whip Float.. I had one for the first time last August .. I had the Van. ice cream in it... woohoo!! Winter, spring, summer, fall.. I will have one no matter what the temperature outside! Do you have more than one Dole Whip while you are in the MK... or are you so strong to resist further trips back to Aloha Isle?? ;)

  8. Ooohhh, the Dole Whip! The classic is still the best snack!

  9. You picked some great treats, definitely classics! I have to say the Mickey pretzel is my favorite of the 3. As a Dole whip fan I was wondering if you have had the chance to try the Citrus Swirl yet?

  10. I hate to admit it, but I haven't tried any of these! On our last trip in January, it was a little chilly for ice cream. Next time though!

  11. Absolute Disney classics all! Although the Dole Whip is not my favorite, I felt I hadn't lived a bona fide Disney life until I tried one. However, I'm not sure I will EVER tackle a turkey leg!! :D

  12. I'm not a fan of the dole whips... but I could eat my weight in Mickey pretzels!! Those are one of my favorite snacks at WDW!
