Character Breakfast At O'hana

We stayed at the Polynesian Resort on our most recent Disney World vacation this past May. You can read all about the Polynesian Resort in my review. We made advanced dining reservations for the character breakfast at O'hana for 8:30 am. This would allow us time to enjoy breakfast and then hop on the monorail and head to Magic Kingdom.

The characters include: Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch

Be sure to bring a camera and autograph book

Onto the amazing FOOD:

The breads are served warm and they are delicious

This is not a buffet, the food is served family style (all you can eat, they will bring more platters once you are done with the first one) The Pongo juice is amazing. I would love to recreate this at home someday. The huge breakfast platter included homemade biscuits, bacon, scrambled eggs and huge wedge fries. Coffee and milk are also available.

My children loved the Mickey waffle's and fruit platter

After breakfast is served the characters start walking around visiting with each table. The character interaction is great at O'hana! The servers brought maraca's around to all of the tables and the children were invited to do a conga line around the restaurant dancing to music! It was such a fun environment and everything was just wonderful. I would highly recommend the character breakfast at O'hana and I hope to return again soon. I felt like it was a great price for an all you can eat breakfast with characters.

Price: $22 per adult $12 per child

PS-If you are curious where the adorable shirts are from that my children are wearing you can find them at one of my favorite Etsy shops: StitchesNBows

My Day At Busch Gardens Williamsburg-Part 2

I recently visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg with my family. My children absolutely loved the many kid friendly attractions that the theme park offered. Their favorite area was the Sesame Street Forest Of Fun. You can read all about our fun here. Today I am going to share with you the awesome kid friendly area called Land Of The Dragons. This area is designed for guests under 56" and it is located in the Germany section of the park.

The super cute treehouse is so fun for children to explore

Here's a photo of my children riding the "Eggery Deggery Ferris Wheel"

Here's a photo of my children riding the "Bug-a-Dug" My littlest loved this! She enjoyed driving her ladybug!

Here's a photo of my children riding the super cute "Flutter-Sputter"

The Land of The Dragons is a great play area for ages 9 and under. The tree house leads children to a huge climbing net area. There is also a water play area at the entrance. If you are are separated from your little one there is a lost children's area called Dragon Digs.

Inside Dragon Dig's there is a nursing area and a nice private bathroom.

Overall my children loved Land of the Dragons. They spend about an hour and a half riding the rides. Many of the rides they were able to ride twice in a row.

Stay tuned for my next post where you can learn all about the many dining options that Busch Gardens Williamsburg has to offer.

My Day At Busch Gardens Williamsburg-Part 1

I recently visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg located in Virginia. I have been visiting this theme park since I was a little girl. The park offers something for everyone and it is a great family friendly theme park. Everywhere you look you will see beautiful flowers, well maintained paths and the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. I'm not here to tell you about the bathrooms though :) I am going to share with you the many kid friendly attractions that Busch Gardens Williamsburg offers. My kids favorite area was the Sesame Street Forest of Fun. They were able to play in their swimsuits at the water area and they were able to meet Elmo & Big Bird!

My children & their grandparents walking into Sesame Street Forest Of Fun

Be sure to let your children burn some energy at Oscar's Yucky Forest (this is all a padded play area)

Prince Elmo's Spire

Children of all ages will enjoy the water play area at Sesame Street Forest Of Fun

Here's my two girls playing on the soft padded water play area (I love that it is not concrete)

The perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day

102 Ways To Save Money For Walt Disney World Review + Giveaway

This review for 102 Ways to Save Money at Walt Disney World by Lou Mongello is part of a Magical Blogorail sponsored campaign. Copies of the book were received free of charge for a review. Opinions are those of the reviewer and do not represent those of the author.  Your opinion may vary.

102 Ways To Save Money For And At Disney World is a WONDERFUL book for anyone and everyone planning a Disney World vacation. The book has so many great ways to save money for your Disney World vacation that even I had not thought of! My personal favorites of the 102 ways to save money: " Scheduling your Walt Disney World visit around one of Disney's annual events you get more bang for your buck." This is exactly true! My family visits each May and we visit the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. I truly feel like we are getting a BIG bang for our buck! The beautiful topiary displays, HGTV guest speakers and even special entertainers performing live include a few of the examples. Another great tip that Lou gives reader's is to give each child their own personal Disney piggy bank dedicated to saving their money for Disney World. Also let family members know that your children would love Disney World gift cards for their birthday instead of toys. These are all practical and easy ways to save money efficiently for your Disney World vacation. If you have the extra money, have money deducted from your paycheck each month and directly deposited to a special Disney savings account. This is a GREAT way to save money, this way you don't even see the money nor do you get the chance to spend it, it goes directly to your savings account.

I really love the great money saving advice offered in this book. I think that readers will appreciate the 102 ways to save money and really be able to save for their Disney World vacation quicker than they thought possible after reading this book. If you can only afford to buy one guidebook THIS is the one to buy! I have read many many Disney guidebooks and this is by far the easiest to understand, learn from and follow through with.

Lou Mongello is a well known among many Disney fans. Lou is best known as an author of Disney Trivia books, speaker and founder of the Dream Team Project which sends children with life threatening illnesses to Disney World. He is also the host and producer of the very popular WDW Radio.

Disney expert and podcasting pioneer, Lou Mongello, shares 102 ways you can have the most magical Disney vacation without breaking the bank in this comprehensive, detailed, 197-page guide.  102 Ways to Save Money For and At Walt Disney World guide is a MUST HAVE for any family planning toward a Disney vacation.
