Epcot Kidcot Fun Stops Review

What is a Kidcot fun stop??

The Kidcot fun stops are located throughout the World Showcase. They are a great place to cool off, color and learn about the 11 different countries. Children will receive a cardboard Duffy to color on, place stickers on and they can use this to collect the 11 different stamps from each country.

You can purchase a World Showcase Passport  and collect the stamps from the different countries. There is even space in the back of the passport where your children can collect autographs.

Where to Find Kidcot Fun Stops
  • Mexico Pavilion (near Animales Fantasticos)
  • Norway Pavilion (at The Puffin’s Roost)
  • China Pavilion (near the exit of Reflections of China)
  • Germany Pavilion (at Volkunst)
  • Italy Pavilion (outside, near La Bottega Italiana)
  • American Adventure Pavilion (outside, near Heritage Manor Gifts)
  • Japan Pavilion (in the Bijutsu-kan Gallery)
  • Morocco Pavilion (at the Marketplace in the Medina)
  • France Pavilion (at Souvenirs de France)
  • United Kingdom Pavilion (at The Toy Soldier)
  • Canada Pavilion (at the exit of O Canada!)

my children enjoyed collecting the different stamps from each country on their Duffy bears!

Overall I found this to be a fun educational activity and I would recommend doing it with your children. My children love to look back over the signatures and phrases written on their Duffy bears and it is a fun keepsake item.

Little Mermaid On Broadway

Welcome to those of you joining me from I Am A Mommy Nerd and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail.

The Little Mermaid has always been my favorite Disney movie and I have always wanted to see Little Mermaid live on Broadway. Unfortunately the production ended in 2012, however I have read the reviews and it is supposed to be one amazing production and I am holding out hope that it will return to Broadway! I hope to visit New York City in a few years when my little's are older. One of my "must see" items on my list is attend a Disney production on Broadway. Here is the Broadway website with information on the Little Mermaid show.

The Broadway show consists of multiple scenes from the original movie The Little Mermaid. One of my favorite parts from The Little Mermaid is the scene in which Ursala begins to take Ariel's voice. The show was two hours and thirty minutes. You can view clips on You Tube from the actual Broadway show if you are like me and love all things Little Mermaid :)

Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studio's is one of my favorite shows in all of Disney World. I can only imagine how amazing Little Mermaid live on Broadway was.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Saving Up For Disney.

Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:

1st Stop ~ Disney Mamas - The Magic Of Disney's Beauty and The Beast On Broadway
2nd Stop ~ Capturing Magical Memories - Into The Woods
3rd Stop ~ I Am a Mommy Nerd - Mary Poppins On Broadway
4th Stop ~ Disney with Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers - The Little Mermaid

Elf On The Shelf 101

You have probably heard of the Elf On The Shelf by now. If not, I am going to give you all the basics when it comes to the super popular Elf.

What is the Elf?
The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition, on the first day of December the Elf makes his appearance in your home. Your children can name your Elf and you can read the super cute book to your children. The book explains most everything on a level your children will understand. Basically, you and your children can not touch the Elf or he will loose his magical powers. He reports daily to the North Pole and tells Santa if your children have been naughty or nice.

Where can you find the Elf?
You can find the Elf online at http://www.elfontheshelf.com/ or if you are heading to the store you can most likely find it at any big box retailer such as Target or Walmart. Barnes & Noble sells the Elf on the Shelf and many of the cute accessories.

Target has a huge selection of Elf on the Shelf items, even super cute unisex pajamas for just $12

I love the super cute Elf on the Shelf gift bags at Target

Wait, the Elf has accessories?
Of course! For starters, when you purchase your Elf on the Shelf you can decide if you want a boy or a girl (or both!). You can choose to dress your Elf in a super cute leather jacket, game day jersey or even a satin tiered skirt. Next you can decide if you want your Elf to have a pet. New this year, Elf Pets which includes an adorable soft reindeer. There's even a DVD about the Elf called The Elf's Story. My children love this DVD. Each year we add on to our Elf On The Shelf collection. Last year we also purchased the Elf on the Shelf Christmas ornament. This year they have added a super cute coloring book, board book with sounds for little children and even a set of 4 Elf Figurines. The brand is really growing and it is just getting cuter and cuter. It is hard to resist!

How much does the Elf cost?
The Elf on the Shelf costs $29.95 and this includes the hard cover book and Elf. The Elf Pet reindeer costs $19.95 and the clothes cost $6.95 each. Target has Elf on the Shelf gift bags, wrapping paper, baking set with Elf apron and an apron for a child.

What does the Elf do?
Each day the Elf reports back to the North Pole and tells Santa if the children have been naughty or nice. Parents can have fun with the Elf and make him do funny, silly, crazy, naughty things each morning the children will have a blast trying to find the Elf and what he is up to. Here's a few example's of what our Elf was up to last Christmas.

I wanted to share with my readers a few photo's from my son Hunter's recent birthday. Birthday boy woke up and immediately wanted to open his presents. These make such unique gifts. Let me tell you, as soon as he saw his photo in the front of the book he went nuts! "Mommy that's ME!" he shouted. He also received a personalized pirate bandana with the book. It is the cutest thing ever! He loves planes, trains and firetrucks and when I saw the personalized stickers on the I See Me! website I knew I had to get them! The stickers are available for girls or boys and they are so cute.
