All About Our Day At King's Dominion's #SoakCity

We had such an amazing day at Kings Dominion last weekend! My kids loved Soak City waterpark. Picture yourself lying in a comfy beach chair relaxing while your children splash and play. This is exactly how our day was pretty much. We spent most of the day at the waterpark riding water slides, playing at Tidal Wave Bay, relaxing in the Lazy River and Soak City Splash House. My kids are 10, 7 and 6 years old and their favorite waterslide is FreeStylin'. Such a fun waterslide! No scary dark tunnels, no steep drops, just a really fun and enjoyable experience.
If you're feeling brave, be sure to ride the Paradise Plunge & Thunder Falls at Hurricane Heights!

My kids spent about two hours playing at Soak City Splash House but they could have spent the whole day here! There are waterslides perfect for younger children who may not be brave enough for the 'big kid' slides and there are climbing nets and a huge bucket that dumps water every few minutes! Guests must be 40" to ride the waterslides. Did you know that Kings Dominion's Soak City is 20 acres?! It is by far the coolest place to slide, splash, chill and dine. With two wave pools, dozens of water slides and drop slides on Hurricane Heights. There’s also an interactive splash pad for little ones and a lazy river for those who want a more laidback day on the water.

The Clown Band was marching through Soak City! My kids were so excited to see them wearing their water floats :)

My children love the frozen bananas and strawberry ice cream from Island Twist. I love the dole whip's! Such a perfect treat on a hot summer day.
