3 new rides coming soon to Planet Snoopy!

Here is a sneak peak at the locations of the new additions for Planet Snoopy

Brand new family-friendly rides include:

•Kite Eating Tree–Charlie Brown’s kite is stuck in a tree again, can you help get it down? On this family ride, guests will be propelled to the top of the tower and bounce down to the platform as they experience sensations of weightlessness.

•Sally’s Sea Plane–Join Sally as she soars through the air high above the sea! Kids and their parents are in store for an adventure with a trip on Sally’s airplane. Take a trip round-and-round on this giant plane as it rotates and rises into the air.

•Peanuts™500–Pick your car and rev up the engine with the Peanuts™ crew on this fun car ride that is the perfect size for your little racers. Start your engines and hit the track in race cars designed for parents and children to ride together as they move in a circle and whip around the corner on a closed track.

This latest expansion to the 14-acre kid’s area brings the total number of rides in Planet Snoopy to 20. All of the rides are designed for families to experience together.

We met Snoopy!

Plus, children three to five years of age can experience all that Planet Snoopy has to offer for FREE with the brand new Kings Dominion Pre-K Pass!

In celebration of the Planet Snoopy additions, the limited-time Kings Dominion Pre-K Pass is brand new for 2017 and grants complimentary admission to children ages three to five years for the entire 2017 season. My Recent Visit To Kings Dominion Was So Fun

We recently visited Kings Dominion and had the best time! My three children are at the perfect age for Planet Snoopy and they had a blast at the water park, Soak City. According to my children their favorite attraction is Joe Cool's Driving School. They love that there are working stop lights and stop signs! My daughter says that Planet Snoopy was her favorite area of the park. Meeting Snoopy and friends was so special. My son really enjoyed Boo Blasters On Boo Hill. I'd recommend spending the first part of your day at Planet Snoopy. The line's weren't bad at all and we arrived right when the park opened at 10:30 am. After 2 hours we headed to Soak City which opened at noon. We had lunch in Soak City. They have lockers available for rental (additional fee). We were able to find two nice lounge chairs near Splash Island. My younger children (ages 6 and 5) loved Splash Island. This is a nice shady water play area for children under 54". It is centrally located and has a great view of the lazy river.

Throughout the day Snoopy and friends will appear for photos and meetngreets

Be sure to visit Dinosaur's Live--admission is $5 per person and it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to view all of the animatronic dinosaurs. It is really quite fun!

We had so much fun at Soak City! We could easily have spent the whole day just in the water area because my kids loved it! We started out with the lazy river followed by the Baja Bend water slides (my 9 year old's favorite water slide) and then we headed to the wave pool. My daughter and I rode Hurricane Heights. My younger children had a blast playing in Splash Island which is a really nice area for children under 5 years old. There were water squirters, a small slide and climbing area and a big bucket that dumps water. It is also very shaded in this area. Another fun area for younger children is pictured below, Soak City Splash House:
This has over 40 water attractions and a huge bucket that dumps water. There is a swimming bridge too.

My 9 year old said her favorite snack at Kings Dominion is their ice cream!

Once it gets dark outside many of the attractions light up including the huge ferris wheel and even the Eiffel Tower! It changed colors and there was a super cool forest where the tree's change colors and there is music playing. My kids thought this was so neat.
The Eiffel Tower is beautiful at night
