Charmed In The Parks Charms

Charms are located in many of the gift stores at Disney resorts and at the theme parks

My personal favorite spot to find the best selection of charms is the shop located at the Magic Kingdom beside the Castle called Castle Couture.

Charm bracelets make a great souvenir and it is fun to add on to the bracelets each year. There are charms for each Disney princess, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, mouse ears, flowers, etc.

Each year I let my girls choose a few charms to add to their bracelets. This has become such a fun tradition. You can also find charms at the Disney Store at Downtown Disney.

Be Our Guest Lunch Review

Be Our Guest is a must see--the beautiful stained glass in the entrance is amazing

the ceiling and chandeliers are absolutely stunning at Be Our Guest

Guests are able to pre-order their meal online after they make their dining reservations. The menu consists of  french onion soup (highly recommend), salads, braised pork, carved turkey sandwich, carved prime chuck roast beef sandwich, vegetable quiche, quinoa salad and the super popular croque monsieur. Prices range from $9.50 up to $13 for most entree's. It is definitely worth the price. I would love to return for dinner next time. During dinner guests can even meet the Beast!

I ordered the Croque Monsieur which is a ham and cheese sandwich-it was delicious

My daughter ordered the kid's whole grain macaroni with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. I subbed the side of veggies for a chocolate chip cookie :)

forgive me for this horrible photo of this amazingly delicious and super popular cupcake--"The Masters Cupcake" was yummy and best known for the icing "The Grey Stuff"--it was delicious

Guests can help themselves to unlimited refill's at the self serve drink station

guests at Be Our Guest are treated to REAL silverware!

Be sure to walk around the various dining area's located inside Be Our Guest--Bell & The Beast twirl and dance in this section

Be sure to visit the darker section of the castle where you can see the famous rose from the Beauty and The Beast movie. Inside this section of the castle guests can hear thunder (this was a bit too scary for my 3 year old so we opted to dine in the brighter room in the main dining section.

Overall our total lunch price for our family of 5 was just about $50 and I would highly recommend dining at Be Our Guest. Keep in mind that my youngest two split the kid's macaroni. It is such an amazing restaurant. I would give the food an "A" and the atmosphere an "A+". We would love to return for dinner next time.

WetnWild Orlando Cabana Review

My family recently visited WetnWild Orlando. We knew that we would stay the whole day at the water park so we splurged and rented a CABANA! This was such a fun treat for all of us. I knew that my kids would enjoy having a quiet place to rest, cool off and nap if need be. The cabanas are located in a private area near the lazy river. To enter the cabana area you must show your bracelet. Each cabana has a fan, table with 4 chairs, 2 very comfy lounge chairs, 4 beach towels (more are available) and a mini fridge and huge locker. There are two waitresses that service the cabana's, they were so friendly and helpful. We were able to close the curtains off to allow privacy to change the kids at the end of the day out of their wet swim suits. The cabana rentals are available online and in person on a first come first serve basis. I highly recommend making a reservation.

The cabanas are located off to themselves and you really feel like you are on a tropical island complete with sand, hammocks, palm tree's and your own private waitress

The cabanas each have a mini refrigerator with 12 bottled waters. Above the refrigerator is a huge storage cabinet that locks. This is where we stored our backpack, camera, wallet, cell phones, etc. while we were away from the cabana riding the waterslides :)

Food and drinks are available to order

We brought a small cooler into the park with juice boxes and sandwiches for the kids to eat because they are picky eaters. We ordered lunch from the menu--I really enjoyed the chicken tenders and the seasonal fruit platter was huge! We were so glad we ordered it--there was fresh watermelon slices, honeydew slices, cantaloupe slices, pineapple, grapes, orange slices and huge strawberries. Perfect for a hot Florida day!

The Seasonal Fruit Platter was DELICIOUS and I would highly recommend it--the best $10.95 we spent all day :)

My kids enjoyed playing in the sandy beach area located directly across from our cabana

Cabana rental prices vary depending on when you visit. During the summer the rental price is $199. Overall I would highly recommend splurging on a cabana. We thought it was wonderful and my little one's loved it!

Renting A Stroller For Your Disney Vacation

Packing for a Disney vacation always tends to stress me out. I always worry we will run out of space in the van! Being that we are a family of 5 space is limited to start off. Add a cooler, luggage, pool toys, packnplay and stroller to the list of things we must squeeze into the van and I start to worry there won't be much room for the kids! This is why we started leaving our huge double stroller at home and renting a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers. We absolutely love having so much extra space in the van for the 12 hour drive to Florida. It is SO simple to rent a stroller from Kingdom Strollers, there is no hassle. They will deliver it to your resort on the day you are scheduled to check in and they will also pick it back up on the day you are scheduled to depart. Easy peasy. The rental prices are very affordable, 7 days cost us less than $100. The strollers are all sanitized after each rental and they come with a name plate so that you can easily find your stroller when you park it at the theme parks.

My kids loved the City Mini Double stroller

To rent a stroller simple visit www.Kingdomstrollers.com and choose which stroller you would prefer then click 'reserve this item'. They have single Bob strollers, double Bob strollers and they also have City Mini strollers. These strollers are very easy to push for the many miles you will be walking at Disney World. Best of all they are super comfortable for your children. The seats recline back for napping and they have a huge canopy to protect children from the bright Florida sun and rain showers that are known to pop up out of nowhere.

Renting online is so simple. Visit their website, click 'reserve item' and then choose your dates on the calendar that you will need the stroller. Pick the resort you will be staying at and you are all set.

I would highly recommend renting from Kingdom Strollers on your next Orlando vacation.

LegoLand Florida Is Now A Must For Our Family

My family recently visited Legoland Florida for the first time. Legoland is located about 40 minutes from Orlando and the drive is a very easy one. There is a shuttle available for those that do not have a car. The shuttle picks up at the Orlando Premium Outlets at Vineland Avenue at 9:00 am daily. Be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior. Reservations are required by 11:30 am the day before. The cost of the shuttle service is just $5 per person.

Tickets to Legoland are available online at their website for a discounted rate of $69 per adult and $62 for ages 3-12 also if you pick the date ahead of time you can save $15.

Strollers are available for rent $10 for single and $15 for double. For more information visit their website.

Parking is $14

When you enter the park you will immediately see the huge two story Grand Carousel!

If you are celebrating a birthday be sure to stop by guest services and ask for a complimentary button

Our first ride of the day was the super cute Safari Trek-this is a great ride for all ages.

Kids can drive their jeep through the Lego themed safari

Loved seeing the animals all made from Lego's. Be aware rides may get a little wet on the safari

Be sure to visit the Ford Jr Driving School (ages 3-5) or the Ford Driving School (ages 6-13). This is located in the back of the park and it does get busy. Children who participate at the Ford Driving School will receive an official Legoland driver's license.

My son loved being able to drive his own Lego car at the Ford Jr Driving School

Kids get to experience intersections, stop signs, traffic jams at the Ford Driving School

Ford Driving School is a MUST

Lego characters are available for meetngreet's throughout the theme park

Be sure to head to the new World of Chima and ride the action packed Quest for CHI. Riders are able to fire water canons at bystanders and other riders on passing boats. Be warned you will get wet on this ride! Luckily there are dryer booths located outside of the ride ($2 fee).

Duplo Valley was not yet open when I visited a few weeks ago, however, it is now OPEN! I look forward to visiting this area next time. Children will LOVE Duplo Valley. This area of the park is really geared towards the younger crowd. There is a super cute Duplo Farm, Duplo Train, Duplo Tractor, Duplo Splash & Play area and a Duplo Tot Spot.

If you want to cool off and let your little one play head to the Toddler Play Room. Located directly to the left of the Duplo Valley entrance you will see this adorable play area.

What a fun, bright play area! Kids can enjoy the air conditioning, play and build with Lego's and relax

The Play Room is such a nice addition for parents and children

The Baby Care Center is located beside the Toddler Play Room

Parents can feed their babies in a private area complete with a comfortable rocking chair, privacy curtain and even a mini rocking chair for siblings.

The Baby Care Center offers high chairs, a microwave and refrigerator for food storage and a sink

Parents are able to leave their milk, snacks, etc. for their children in the refrigerator

The Kingdom is an awesome area for children of all ages complete with a huge climbing net that children will love!

The Royal Joust is a fun ride located in Lego Kingdoms. Children must be 36" to ride.

Overall I would highly recommend a visit to Legoland Florida! My children absolutely loved it! I rode several awesome roller coasters with my 7 year old. The park is not just geared towards younger children. I went there thinking that it was but I quickly learned there is a TON of attractions for older children too. The park is beautiful, flowers and tree's everywhere. We did not have time to visit Cypress Gardens but I hope to next time. If you can, allow two days to visit Legoland Florida to allow enough time to enjoy each ride, show and restaurants. Stay tuned for a review on the yummy lunch we had at Legoland.
